  I take serious issue with the one star review of this wonderful church. My wife and I attended Grace Church for about six months but currently live in Texas - I offer a third party perspective with nothing to gain one way or the other. My wife previously attended a church that actually did have financial and leadership issues and so we entered into finding a new church home gingerly. We explained our concerns to Pastor Roger (the pastor at Grace Church) and he was very open with the church's books and bylaws. At Grace Church they hold regular and open financial meetings where all the money is accounted for and Pastor Roger even belongs to a board of local pastors that have the authority to remove one another should there be a financial or ethical problem. And the thing you have to remember is - Grace Church isn't part of a denomination, there's no central authority telling the church that it has to conduct open business meetings or hold themselves accountable to the community - they do it voluntarily. That meant a lot to my wife and I, and I think speaks volumes about the integrity of the leadership at Grace Church. I encourage people to try this church and see for themselves.
  
  p.s. I have a Master's degree from UW-Madison and never felt any disapproval of secular education. If you enjoy the company of good and decent people you'll fit right in.

  I live in Madison and travel to New Glarus just for this church. We have tried many churches and this is the one we chose. Immediately when you walk in, there is coffee, a healthy snack spread that is laid out on a table (vegts/dip, fruit, coffee cakes, rolls, granola, turkey and ham rolled up with crackers and cheese slices) and a book store with couches. They invite you to grab some coffee or tea, get a plate of something to eat and come and sit down in the sanctuary. The people are so friendly and you feel a part of something special at this church. The Pastor and his wife are wonderful. His sermons are the best. You will never be bored listening to them. Sometimes they will have videos to watch, to tie in with the sermon. The whole experience is great! So many people have said they came once and had to come back again.~
